SPACE SHARING IN THE BIG CITY

Bad Press shares our space with the Workshop for Potential Cinema - a D.I.Y. filmmaking group. Together you could consider the two groups as a “Haven for Obsolete Technology” (HOT). We are also very good friends with the Pyrmont Ultimo Mens’ Shed, a few doors down from us, and we love our neighbours from the local footy and hockey clubs.

We make our space available to share on a temporary ad-hoc basis by artists and community groups. Our focus is on supporting activities which build community and assist with creative connections in the expensive big city and beyond - for non-commercial use only.

In recent years we have helped artists host affordable workshops with participants from across regional NSW, and even as far afield as Canada; we’ve supported the launch of an awesome indy magazine; we have welcomed film screenings and community dinners, and have even made space for the creation of large public sculptures.
